The Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI is proud to present the next "Members Only" Project Management Professsional (PMP) Exam Prep Course from March 2009 at the BCIT Downtown Campus, 555 Seymour Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 3H6. Directions.
In keeping with our latest Bylaw Resolution to serve the needs of our members, the Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI is offering a 35-hour PMP and CAPM exam prep course to its members.
The course will take place on five Saturdays (except April 11) starting March 28 and ending May 2, 2009.
Our objective is to assist and expedite your understanding of the PMBOK Guide, which is the foundation document on which your exam is based. For information on CAPM and PMP certifications, visit PMI Global Website.
We provide skilled facilitators, a textbook, a binder containing the lecture slides and a CD with 400 exam prep questions organized by knowledge area, process group, and randomized for exam simulation. As a member of PMI and our Chapter you already have your own PMBOK 3rd Edition CD which you will need for study purposes.

Course Fee:
The course will cost $1,110 + 5% GST = $1165.50.
Only 28 seats are available for the course. The seats will be filled on first come first served basis.

Course Material:
The slide material accompanying the course reflect the improvements and modifications the chapter has made to the content over the past three years and the focus is on teaching the student methodologies to prepare and pass the PMP exam. It is expected that the student takes time out to pre-read the PMBOK 3rd Edition module content before coming for the sessions.
The textbook is PMP Project Management Professional Study Guide, Second Edition by Joseph Philips. It will be handed out to the student at the first session.
